More Hills – Beacon Hill, Burghclere

Last night I did a few stretches up and down Beacon Hill in Burghclere. Just as we got out, the car was registering 22 degrees. Eesh, thats hot.

Beacon Hill – The Bottom

My knee is feeling a bit painful after the hill session yesterday and I really don’t want to be in the same situation I was before the marathon earlier this year. I need to be careful, sensible and do lots of icing. Also, Beacon Hill is very steep – I can’t run much of it!

There were a few other runners out last night, one guy I chatted too said someone held the record for making it up to the top in 3 minutes 50 seconds – whaaaat?!

If you are local, Beacon Hill is beautiful. Its a tough trundle up there but the views are worth it. It is so peaceful and quiet.

A great place to run away with your thoughts.

A few phone photos from the walk:
