Summer Solstice 2016 [photos]

It was a pretty horrible start to the Summer Solstice but as the day rolled on, the skies had cleared and it turned out to be a beautiful evening. Stonehenge was looking to be a little busy (and charging £15 to park!) so we headed to St Mary Bourne just as the sun was setting.

Nice photos. I’ve also enjoyed a couple of nice sunny evening runs after getting soaked in Sunday’s washout. Can’t believe they charge £15 to park at Stone Henge!

I feel like you need to be quick at the moment, as soon as the sun is out – go, go, go! It is still pretty warm in the evenings for running. Yes, £15 is a bit steep. It was amusing because EH said that they were allowing people in for free to the Stones but you had to park. It turns out it costs £15 to go in normally..Nice spin there. 🙂
