It is flu season
Achoo - it won't be long until the dreaded flu, sniffles and cold are back on our radar. People will be sneezing, blowing their noses, managing sore throats and looking for remedies to help make it through.
If you sell products such as tissues or pharmaceutical goods, then now is the time to let people know. Health professionals will want to develop campaigns about flu-shots and check-ups and alternative therapists might want to approach more holistic therapy ideas to ease your symptoms.
Following the summer break, people will be back to the 9 - 5 and this means travel, delays and packed transport. This is a great time to promote environmentally-friendly travel alternatives such as electric vehicles, electric scooters or bicycles. Local bus companies will want to start promoting their timetables for school runs and the general public, making sure they're up-to-date with the latest times.
Later in the year is International Children's Day (November 20th), which aims to promote international togetherness, awareness among children worldwide, and improving children's welfare. If you work with children or your business supports those who do, make sure you are marking this day in your diary.
Document and promote the issues - both good and bad- that children face around the world. Celebrate the fun and laughter and consider supporting local children's charities this month to help make a difference. Don't forget your model release forms - especially if you are working with minors.
I know, it is only September but the planning has started. If you are an event organiser or event venue looking to promote your services this December, then you'll want to let people know you are open for bookings and enquiries.
Now the summer is out of the way, the next big event on the business social calendar is Christmas. Christmas party venues, christmas food and even client gifts will start being planned. Make sure are promoting what you have on offer - get those menus written and shared!
